Lord of the Rings (Dark Horizons)
A bootleg (filmed with a handheld camera in the cinema) of the trailer has popped up online but I refuse to link to such low quality video. So you'll have to search the web for yourself. The trailer will be offically put on the web Friday. What's the problem with waiting a few days, jeez.

Spiderman (Corona Coming Attractions)
This is what Spidey will look like. Pretty sharp.

Enemy at the Gates (AICN)
The trailer's online and looking good.

In the Heart of the Sea (IGN Filmforce)
Scorsese might direct.

3,000 Miles From Graceland (Dark Horizons)
Trailer is here (lo-res) or here (hi-res).

The Matrix 2 (CHUD)
Alas, Michelle Yeoh, won't be in the Matrix 2.

Confessions of a Dangerous Mind (CHUD)
Alas, John Cusack will not be in it as he's been replaced by Johnny Depp.

Cosmic Banditos (CHUD)
But not to fear, because Cusack is now involved with an even weirder movie! The film will follow Cusack as an American expatriate that is putting his public education to use as a member of a group of Colombian marijuana smugglers on the run in the jungle. The rub appears when we learn that the chaotic and random lives of the smugglers are suddenly given meaning when Cusack's character has a quantum epiphany about how their lives are governed by particles and the laws of subatomic physics. According to Cusack, the premise "is just really original. It deals with quantum mechanics in a gonzo, gung-ho sort of way."
Rock on. Based on the novel by A. C. Weisbecker.

Rendevous With Rama (Dark Horizons)
This movie will hopefully rock our socks off. The official site has gone up with a slide-show, apparently aimed at sponsors since they're mentioning everybody's previous box-office grosses. But anyway, it will be completely CG à la Final Fantasy. Arthur C. Clarke is of course keeping an eye on this adaptation of his novel. David Fincher is attached. Weird, is he gonna direct an animated movie? Conceptual art is being done by Moebius. And Morgan Freeman does his thing too.

Through the Moebius Strip (AICN)
More Moebius news and maybe even cooler. Yes, They're making a Moebius movie! It will be completely 3D, again like Final Fantasy. Story and design by the man himself. DV.com has a big interview about it.

The Hulk (AICN)
Apparently, Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon's Ang Lee wil direct. Wow.

Watchmen (Corona Coming Attractions)
Too bad this movie never came to be. Oh well, the script has popped up online. I haven't read it yet (the script) but plan to soon.

In the Heart of the Sea (IGN Filmforce)
Sounds interesting. Based on the book by Nathaniel Philbrick, it's about the 1820 encounter between the whaler Essex and an 85-foot sperm whale off the Galapagos Islands, one of the most infamous maritime disasters of the nineteenth century. With Daniel Day Lewis cast in the main role.

Avalon (AICN)
AICN posted a translation of the Avalon trailer.

3,000 Miles To Graceland (CHUD)
The poster's lookin fine.

Avalon (AICN)
New Avalon trailers! Check 'em out!
I think the first one is simply the old one but the other one is definitely new.

Bruce Campbell (Dark Horizons)
Bruce will be starring in Bubba Ho Tep He'll play a 70 year old Elvis impersonator, living in a rest home. Once he finds out that he's being pursued by a soul sucking mummy, he teams up with Ossie Davis (whose character thinks he's JFK) to stop him. Oooookay.

From Hell (AICN)
AICN has two pictures from Depp's latest, the Jack the Ripper movie From Hell, based on the excellent (so I've heard) graphic novel by Alan Moore and Eddie Campbell.

One Night at McCool's (Corona Coming Attractions)
Trailer's now online. Michael Douglas looks like a real hoot.

Terminator 3 (Dark Horizons)
Peta La femme Nikita Wilson has been added to the list of rumoured names for the female terminator baddie.

Tron 2 (CHUD)
The original Tron was a great movie, this sequel will suck ass I fear. The plot is said to follow an ambitious hacker who transports himself into cyberspace to pull off the ultimate hack. Yawn. At least it will have the same writer-director, Steven Lisberger, so there might still be some hope.

The Road to Perdition (CHUD)
Paul Newman is rumoured to join the cast of Sam Mendes' new flick. So far Tom Hanks, Tom Sizemore and Jude Law are attached too. Tom Hanks will play a Prohibition-era triggerman on a violent quest to avenge his slain family with his surviving son. Based on a graphic novel.

The One (AICN)
This sounds like it could be helluva cool if done properly.
"The One" is a movie by those "Final Destination" guys (you know, the X-Files ones), with Jet Li starring it (he replaced The Rock). The story's about a guy who realizes there are a buncha alternate realities, and that if you kill your doppleganger gotta love this word), you'll become stronger. The more dopplegangers you kill, the more powerful you'll become.

Final Fantasy 2 (CHUD)
Final Fantasy's director, Hironobu Sakaguchi, is planning to ramp up production on a second film as soon as he finishes the exhausting process of bringing the first to life.

The Incredible Hulk (Corona Coming Attractions)
Bill Paxton is being considered for the role of Bruce Banner.

K-19: The Widowmaker (Corona Coming Attractions)
Not only will the crew of the K-19 have a possible nuclear meltdown to contend but there is also dissention in the ranks. As the nuclear crisis begins to mount, the crew split their loyalty between Captain Zateyev (Ford) and First Officer Yenin (Liam Neeson), with Yenin thinking about taking over the ship.
Wow, mutiny on a submarine, now there's an original idea. We sure didn't see that one coming *sigh*

Guy Ritchie's next movie (Dark Horizons) (AICN)
Contradictions abound.
From DH: Guy Ritchie is hoping to make a big-budget film about his grandfather Major Stewart "Jack" Ritchie, a man who won the Military Cross during the first world war and died serving his country during the second. Filming is expected to take place in France and the Scottish Highlands and will cover the two major events of his life - his leading of a successful attack on the Hidenburg Line in 1918, and the Battle of St Valery in Normandy where he was killed whilst defending the British rearguard with the Seaforth Highlanders. This doesn't sound like your average Guy Ritchie movie but I've read somewhere else in an interview that he was very impressed by Gladiator and wanted to do an epic movie.
From AICN: Filming could start in March for the new Guy Ritchie movie 'The Mole' where Madonna will play an American girl who comes to England and gets involved in an underworld battle to find a police informer, reports todays Mirror newspaper.
So which of the two will it be?

Ringworld (AICN)
I didn't even know there were plans to turn this into a movie and now Chow Yun Fat has been aproached to play Louis Wu. They're gonna need some awesome special effects to make that two headed ostrich alien look believable.

Rush Hour 2 (I forgot)
Remember news about a Don Cheadle cameo in Rush Hour 2? Well Cheadle only wanted to do it if he got to speak Chinese and fight Jackie Chan. He got his wishes. Man, that alone will be worth the price of a ticket.

Black Hawk Down (Cinescape Online)
Mr Right Stuff Sam Shepard is looking to to join the cast of Ridley Scott's new movie about the true-life 1993 military operation into Mogadishu, Somalia, that went terribly wrong. Planned as a simple one-hour operation, the U.S. forces encountered unexpected heavily armed Somilians numbering in the thousands. Josh Hartnett, Tom Sizemore and Eric Bana have all previously signed on to the production.
